Dune Etching

I was photographing the Oregon Dunes with Lewis Anderson in preparation for our Coastal Oregon Photo Tour October 19-21, when I found this composition. We were hoping to find early sun on the dunes to accentuate the ripples, but arrived to find fog, which left its own imprint, one that felt pleasantly other worldly.
