Ashland Creek

Ashland Creek has many moods depending on the time of day, the season and of course, the light. This image was taken along the creek on an overcast day in Ashland's Lithia Park.

Mossy Oak II

Mossy Oak II was taken during a recent walk to the top of Lower Table Rock in SW Oregon's Sam's Valley. Originally from PA, where I can't recall ever seeing moss on trees, I continue to be amazed by this phenomenon.

Pompadour Drive

Pompadour Drive is named after nearby Pompadour Bluff Cliff, a prominent landmark just outside of Ashland. I have always been drawn to the curling driveway in the distance.

Mossy Oak

I love the look of moss, which often appears on deciduous trees in the Pacific Northwest. It forms when temperatures are above freezing and its growth shuts down when temperatures get warm and water is unavailable. This oak was taken at Lower Table Rock near Central Point in The Rogue Valley.
