Aging Grace

The exquisite beauty of flowers in their prime is unmistakable. Less obvious is the character of aging and the countless, graceful ways it unfolds.

I love this one! Not just the photograph but the sentiment reflected. I have my own "stilllifes that are different" and couldn't bear to delete them but didn't quite understand why until I saw this.

I've often wondered what it is that makes someone an artist with a camera. It's too easy to say that they know how to frame a shot. This picture shows me that they can see beauty, and that they not only see it themselves but that they share it with others. Thank you.
