Yesterday morning I noticed the sun weaving in and out of fog banks in a spectacular fashion. I hadn't planned to get out, but this sighting had the effect of getting me into high gear. I found "Mountain Morning" about 6 miles up Dead Indian Memorial Road (an odious name) above Ashland.
"Night Tree" was taken in Ashland's Lithia Park. I often think about getting out to photograph at night, but rarely do. A few photographer friends were going out on this evening and I decided to join them.
I continue to enjoy explorations in nearby Siskiyou County, CA. Traveling the spacious back roads often leads to discoveries whether following them for the first time or finding new material on the same roads.
